Honda is developing at present, a smaller model for the Indian market, this still has no name, or a specific design, but still have a recreation that could be the basis for this new model. The idea of the Japanese firm is to have a model to compete with the Tata Nano, (in price and equipment), and in the future to be the basis of ecological models of the firm, where it would complete the range hybrid Insight and FCX.

In recreation a kind of Jazz (Fit), mixed with the project for South America, the City. Clearly, with the same want to give the cropper in India, and Thailand, markets that are becoming larger.

This model for success in India should have the following characteristics: it must be cheap, must have a fuel efficient, has to be large, maintenance-free, must have a diesel engine, and the depreciation of the value must be lower. All these assumptions are what its future rival Nano.

For now are just speculations, but with this model is clear that Honda is going for more and for leadership in global sales. The goal is to compete head to head with Toyota, a difficult challenge.
